A++ service in a clean, sanitary, and friendly environment!!! The ladies here were absolutely wonderful - very polite and professional! Their pedi-tubs have disposable liners, which is great! I would definitely recommend this salon to friends and family!I dont remember her name, but my nail tech did a wonderful job! I got a deluxe pedicure, and she was very thorough and took her time. She did the basic pedicure steps followed by a sugar scrub exfoliation - which actually lasted a decent amount of time! Then there was a menthol mud masque with a quick massage, followed by hot towels. Seriously the best part! Last, there was a great massage with oil and lotion. And the polish looks great!By far one of the better salons Ive been to... And my family owns a salon, so Im pretty familiar with how nail salons should operate. Ill definitely come back to get my nails done!

Weve been coming here regularly since I got my dog 2 1/2 years ago. Have been here twice since new management and I will continue to, as they do an excellent job. Today was $160 (not including tip, paid in cash) for a trim and de-shed for a 90 lb great pyrenees. When the Prancing Puppy first shut down, I was in a tight spot because many other places didnt take large dogs or they quoted me upwards of $400. (My dog suffered some unfortunate looking home haircuts in the interrim.) Very glad they reopened. They do an excellent job at a great price. He looks tidy, smells clean, and is so happy!

BenZ Nails Spa

I do not normally write reviews - however, undoubtedly probably the worst pedicure I've ever had in my 25+ years of religiously getting my nails done. Paid extra for the ‘honey bee' which includes callus remover/scrub/hot stone/hot towel massage - callus remover was not left on for even 30 seconds - no massage whatsoever, one hot stone rubbed on my foot and shin for a minute maybe, no pressure, no massage, hot towel was cold because it has been taken out at the same time as the stone and we still hadn't necessarily finished the foot scrub/callus remover - not to mention the paint job on my toes is a joke my 9 year old could've done better… half the toenails don't even have polish on majority of the nails, polish and toenails themselves uneven, etc. finger nails were better but not significantly or enough to make me change my perspective or alter my experience/review entirely - I did black dip - manicurist was super sweet and took her time, i could tell she was focused on doing a good job and i really didn't have any complaints about her aside from the fact that i left with black all around my nail beds on every single finger and on every single finger pad (i usually do french tip dip so black dip was a first for me- maybe this is normal?)…i went to the front and paid (did not have time to complain or ask for them to be fixed had kids that needs to be picked up) the lady behind the desk looked at my nails as i paid and immediately said do you want me to have them clean that all up for you … i had already shown the manicurist the residue on every single finger who told me to wash my hands which i did to no avail, then she assured me wash your hands a few times it will come off later … what can i say - i was trying a new place because it's close to my kids dance studio, i am there all the time and would love to have a place nearby to love and make use of my wait time… i had an hour and a half to kill today- however i will not be going back. while the women at the front and both ladies doing my nails were incredibly sweet and friendly, the paint job and overall pedi experience leaves me with the take away of ‘do not return'…. the place was packed and seemed like with many loyal happy customers who converse like friends with their manicurists - which is nice to see, i did not have an appointment- maybe like anywhere you just need to know which manicurist is the best and make an appointment with them … but additionally, the front desk worker also walked around asking everyone if they needed drinks… water, oj, Prosecco i believe..but i wouldn't know because in the hour and a half i was there she never asked me if i wanted or needed anything … if i hadn't left with black alll around every nailbed and finger pad i would've given it 3 stars because really the ladies were super sweet and kind (but at the same time that's not what i am paying for) …. so i'll be trying some others in the area to occupy my time while i wait for my kids at dance this year. $115 later … id rather spent my time grocery shopping, or online shopping or scrolling on my phone in the dance studios parking lot.

Unique Nail & Wax
1620 Newbury Rd # 3, Newbury Park, CA 91320, United States
I never wrote reviews but I got really disrespected from coming in for my appointment. Emily is good friends with my mother but today she really was very beyond rude to me. Im the daughter of my mom that Emily is close with. When I came in! She gets up and starts to say what do you want to do? I reply back that I want only white and to go shorter she comes and says that Im confused, and cant speak well. She starts to say that if I want only to cut only and no paint, and no refill. Which made me nervous and kept saying ummm nervously. She kept getting a little annoyed because I kept saying umm which I just want to cut shorter and get white only. My mom made an appointment for me to get refills. She knows what Im getting. What got me upset is when my mother came in the lady started to laugh like its funny I cant speak well as she points out. She told my mom that I cant speak and kept saying umm. I was just nervous and confused about what was going on. My nails arent even good at all. She did my nails that arent even at all. Some are square like sharp square but others arent even square at all. Especially, dont come there because she told me that she doesnt care about my feelings. The way she said it was beyond disgusting! I never seen bad behavior with a nail tech. She really is rude and will be losing her customers of how she is! Today, she lost 4 people at the same time! She thought I was gonna hit her like Im not a type of person who fights. I was trying to express how I felt uncomfortable. She really didnt care about me, or any customers feelings just her business! Dont waste your time coming to a place that youll get mad disrespected for no reason! Find a good place instead and have better customer service!

Kohls
1960 Newbury Rd, Newbury Park, CA 91320, United States
I honestly cant believe this company hasnt gone out of business. Im pretty sure if they werent a convenient Amazon drop off location, they would be.Standing out from all the other complaints I have about Kohls, the last experience was the nail in the coffin. What ever you do, dont open a Kohls credit account. It makes dealing with your local cable company feel like a day spa visit at the Four Seasons.I purchased a bath towel set and after the first use and wash, the color was fading and looking blotchy. I returned them and purchased another set from a different designer/company. It too did the same thing. This time I just returned the set and moved on and thought to myself, I knew Kohls sold junk from my past, why did I even go here. After a few weeks, the credit for the return wasnt showing up on my account. I called and they said their system was having issues and it should show up in the next few days. This went on for close to 3 months, with several calls and chats. I dont normally give up on these things but I just couldnt waste my time any longer and let them have the money. NEVER will I buy another thing from Kohls.

Crystal Palace Foot Massage
2092 Newbury Rd # C, Newbury Park, CA 91320, United States
My wife and I have been going for a long time for a foot massage. I would say best in town, but a few days ago we called ahead made reservations and was a few minutes early. As we walked in they directed us to our tables, no waiting great. So far great hot water came out, we are soaking our feet they massage your and neck pressure points on face and so on. But did realized they that time they more pulling or stretching of your arms kind of like a chiropractor. So after that they ask you to turnaround and lay down. They cover you with a towel and wrap your feet in a warm towel. So far still getting good massage. After they massage you more work on different areas with their hand, elbow, and more pulling and stretching. Still a massage that was good. Maybe little to much chiropractor action. They ask you to turn over and repeat it . Then they said your done.....But I came here for a foot massage and never got one. They have all sorts of stuff talking about pressure points on feet and how relieves things going on your body but theyd even touch my feet or my wife feet once except for taking out of the water. If one knows a great food massage please reply.

Permagreen Landscaping

Mr. kaster choi just completed my front yard (2/18). He gave me an estimate to finish the job. I paid the amount he asked. After he left, a few days later I noticed the grass is turning yellow, including the weeds he left behind. So, I called him to fix the sprinklers which were included in our contract. When he came, his body language was extremely surprising. When I asked him what is wrong, he starts yelling, and being rude. This was quite surprising interaction compared with the day of our contract, who presented self as a very polite man, and expressing the extra quality job of his family business since 1985!. He left completely undo a small part of the yard due to less traffic; and a large part of the yard was left without lining under the gravels. So, I called him again!! He asked for $75.00 extra cost (in addition to $5500.00 of the contract). He also was requesting this amount should be paid, before his unknown schedule to redo the job that he was already got paid!!I just received this email from him:Okay,You asked for it.Any free material and labor you received. Will probably (changed to promptly) be removed.Best regardsKaster ChoiI wonder the first reviewer is K.Choi also!! Are they related??!! or the same person??!!

Premier Inns Thousand Oaks

I am writing this review to advise, and warn potential customers as to the management style and customer service of this Motel. First and foremost, you have to understand the past history of this place to understand its present day status. With respect to the past reviews prior to the new manager, I would have to concur. This place was a disaster worthy of Federal assistance. The past is the past and it should be left their. Today, You will find a tight running ship, so to speak. The new General Manager, Is Mike Tyson, Judge Judy, Prison Warden and Princess Leia rolled up into one lean mean fighting machine, a no nonsense in your face Manager. Shes the best thing that has happened here in years. Some will say she is rude, I say she is firm in here quest to clean up this place. Some will say she is unreasonable, she is, if you are a paranoid meth-smoking cracked out spun out of control, havent showered since you were released from jail Christmas day, tweaker. She patrols the grounds better then the Secret Service does at the White House. She isnt afraid to walk up to you or bang on your door and tell you, get the hell out of my motel now. Is this place safe? YES, because she has almost single-handed cleaned it up. WARNING: You can NOT party here, do your drugs, work on your car, sell your drugs, girlfriend or recently acquired electronics. The Police often sit in their cars at night in the parking lots and talk to people who drive thru or walk around aimlessly. I have seen many put in the back seat and taken away, I am sure they didnt give them a ride home. With all this being said, I must say this has become a very good place to stay. The manager, Julie is a very fair and honest women, if you have a complaint, she will make sure it is resolved, I have seen this personally. Every time Ive seen her walk the grounds she always stops and talks to guest, shes always smiling, and approachable, true signs she cares about her guest. The entire staff are very friendly, and it is my opinion, the graveyard front desk clerk, is another no nonsense goe-tee wearing pit bull without a leash. He patrols the grounds during the night, barks at people who dont belong here, bites them if they dont leave right then and there. I feel safe with him here, and I know if I have a problem, hes is on top of it before I can put the phone down. He is a real assets to this Company. Corporate should be watching him before someone steals him from here, hes that good at his job.I will end by saying this, The Manager doesnt know who I am by name, nor does the night clerk, I am writing this in response to the negative comments posted. No one asked me to make this review, I did so because I felt it important that future customers should give this motel a chance, The Manager and staff are very friendly, respect and honesty works best here. I often stay here, 15 to 20 days a month sometimes, I work in the health care industry and I often rotate to this location,You will feel safe and secure and you wont pay a fortune for a place to sleep, remember, you get what you pay for, the Ritz is down the street...Dr. Skip
