Comment: I went in for a Gel ex fill and French tip design I didn’t have a lot of time so I had pre shaped and removed color from my nails before going in, I don’t remember who did these for me but it so so disappointing that she made the gel- x so thick it looked like acrylic and I had to completely reshape and remove design when I got home I had asked for round almond and she kept making the tip very sharp and the base too wide I asked for it more narrow and she just made them sharper… . For $85 this was completely not worth the money!The 1st photo is what I asked forThe second is what I gotThe 3rd was what I did at home myself after removing design and reshaping.

Would recommend again for anyone looking to do their hands 🥰Booking was also really easy, communication was smooth and they accommodated us to doing our hands and feet at the same time which was very convenient!We will all be returning customers.

Comment: ***ETA*** The owner called and offered to re-do them for free. I couldn’t fit the appointment into my schedule so I’ve added a star to my review to reflect that the owner tried to make it right.I went to get my nails done for a formal event. They asked what I wanted and I told them. They don’t know what the current nail trends are so I had to look it up for them. During the manicure, the guy doing my nails cut my pinky finger. He cleaned and disinfected it but it kept bleeding. I asked him to wipe the blood away and clean it and he said “later”. The base coat mixed with my blood. Because of that, the bio gel polish that I paid extra for (it’s supposed to last longer) started coming off 3 days later. I didn’t exactly trust them at this point so I didn’t go back and ask them to fix it. I glued it back on with clear polish but it came all the way off after a week (7 days since my appointment) while I was washing my hair. I removed the rest of my polish that same day and it absolutely wrecked my nails. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. The only reason I’m giving this place more than 1 star is because the lady that did my pedicure was great. They came out beautifully and still look nice over a week later. I tipped the nail techs 20% despite the fact that I wasn’t happy.

Comment: From the receptionist to the nail technician, Tracy, we had an amazing experience. First time coming, did NOT have an appointment BUT time was made for my toddler to get her nails done. Will come again & definitely recommend. We only waited 10 minutes to get her nails done :)

Comment: My new go-to nail salon. I’ve never gotten my nails done before and the gentleman who did my nails was SO nice and is such a great artist. This place is clean, the staff are welcoming, and I got exactly what I wanted. Will be returning for my Christmas set in the next few weeks!

Comment: I hate giving bad reviews but i wouldn’t recommend getting a pedicure here. i got the worst pedicure here, the shaping was terrible the color was bumpy went over the cuticles when i asked the lady to remove it she said it’ll wash off which i hasn’t 3 days later and my nail is causing me toe pain. i won’t be returning.

Comment: I do not normally write reviews - however, undoubtedly probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my 25+ years of religiously getting my nails done. Paid extra for the ‘honey bee’ which includes callus remover/scrub/hot stone/hot towel massage - callus remover was not left on for even 30 seconds - no massage whatsoever, one hot stone rubbed on my foot and shin for a minute maybe, no pressure, no massage, hot towel was cold because it has been taken out at the same time as the stone and we still hadn’t necessarily finished the foot scrub/callus remover - not to mention the paint job on my toes is a joke my 9 year old could’ve done better… half the toenails don’t even have polish on majority of the nails, polish and toenails themselves uneven, etc. finger nails were better but not significantly or enough to make me change my perspective or alter my experience/review entirely - I did black dip - manicurist was super sweet and took her time, i could tell she was focused on doing a good job and i really didn’t have any complaints about her aside from the fact that i left with black all around my nail beds on every single finger and on every single finger pad (i usually do french tip dip so black dip was a first for me- maybe this is normal?)…i went to the front and paid (did not have time to complain or ask for them to be fixed had kids that needs to be picked up) the lady behind the desk looked at my nails as i paid and immediately said do you want me to have them clean that all up for you … i had already shown the manicurist the residue on every single finger who told me to wash my hands which i did to no avail, then she assured me wash your hands a few times it will come off later … what can i say - i was trying a new place because it’s close to my kids dance studio, i am there all the time and would love to have a place nearby to love and make use of my wait time… i had an hour and a half to kill today- however i will not be going back. while the women at the front and both ladies doing my nails were incredibly sweet and friendly, the paint job and overall pedi experience leaves me with the take away of ‘do not return’…. the place was packed and seemed like with many loyal happy customers who converse like friends with their manicurists - which is nice to see, i did not have an appointment- maybe like anywhere you just need to know which manicurist is the best and make an appointment with them … but additionally, the front desk worker also walked around asking everyone if they needed drinks… water, oj, Prosecco i believe..but i wouldn’t know because in the hour and a half i was there she never asked me if i wanted or needed anything … if i hadn’t left with black alll around every nailbed and finger pad i would’ve given it 3 stars because really the ladies were super sweet and kind (but at the same time that’s not what i am paying for) …. so i’ll be trying some others in the area to occupy my time while i wait for my kids at dance this year. $115 later … id rather spent my time grocery shopping, or online shopping or scrolling on my phone in the dance studios parking lot.

But the last time that I had a manicure and a waxing, the salon used the wrong color from the picture that I provided And when I said so they said oh maybe you can choose that green shade next time.But the most egregious error was that they took off a layer of skin underneath my eyebrows in on the tale of my right eyebrow and my hair has barely grown back 2 1/2 weeks later when it usually is pretty fast grow because the area where it was waxed was traumatized. I had expressed slight annoyance at the time but it was ignored and gaslit by the manicurist.I’ve been happy with the manicures for the most part but the customer service is just lacking and the attitude is really not becoming.

Comment: I was having a great time here getting a gel pedicure until two of the workers decided to make a rude comment about me in vietnamese because i wanted to do a full set of acrylic after my pedicure. they spoke about me in vietnamese and they didn’t know that i speak fluent vietnamese and that i understand it. after hearing their comments, i changed my mind. they thought it was ridiculous of me to choose to get a full set after my pedicure but that was because i wanted to see if i liked the vibe of the place first. if they weren’t able to provide me with that service, i would have understood and booked for another day. absolutely unprofessional. the woman at the front desk and the woman doing my pedicure were wonderful.

Comment: Unfortunately I have to give this negative review. I did not want to. I went back to try and have my nails fixed four days after my initial appointment and I was still disappointed. My nails are super thick and theyre peeling the clear coat. I paid 65 dollars plus a 10 dollar tip and Ive paid 25 dollars for a better set than this. My final straw was this morning, my right pointer finger just popping right off. No pian. Just popped right off. I tried to have them fixed in hopes of not leaving this review and as the days go by, and the more I look at my nails Im disgusted. I will post pictures as proof. I got these done on the 7th of this month they should not be falling off. I also wanted to keep the original length of my natural nail and I was very specific with the receptionist and the tech prior the the guy who came, sat down, and chopped all my natural nails off before I could even get a word out. I had also mentioned to the receptionist I was having a terrible day. The whole experience was terrible besides my pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure did amazing and she was super nice.

Comment: This salon is beautiful, new and clean! The staff are incredibly welcoming and it is super easy to text or call for appointments, with good hours for people with day jobs. I was honored to meet and have my new acrylic nails done beautifully by the owner Ben. He takes great pride in his work and is a true artist. He excels at unique designs but will also quickly accomplish basics with just enough flare. This was my second visit and it was just as pleasant as the first. When I had a pedicure the massage and attention to detail was a nice surprise. Thank you Ben and your team! I’m thankful to have a lovely salon to go to after work in the Newbury Park area.

Comment: This is my 3rd visit at Benz and Ben himself was terrific. Professional and talented. I was introduced to Bio Gel. Directly over my real nails with no damage to my real nail and the color lasts for more than 3 weeks. I’m also a scuba diver and just got back from diving and swimming for 2 weeks and my nails lasted and looked great. I’m hooked. Also have had a couple of terrific pedicures.

Comment: I was looking for a new place to get my manicures and pedicures as I wasn’t thrilled with the quality and the service I was getting at a very pricey place in Westlake Village. A friend referred me to Benz Nails and I am absolutely ecstatic! Ben is an artist and does a wonderful job. I’ve gotten a pedicure from multiple women including his sister and they are all magnificent. The place is immaculate, everyone is so personable and easy to talk to, they understand exactly what you want, the receptionists are always so kind and attentive…. I truly could not ask for more. Their prices are reasonable and I continuously get compliments on my nails. I learned about bio gel and I am absolutely hooked. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for superb service and superb quality.
