Comment: Do not recommend. Massage was all forearms, despite me asking her to use her hands. Pressure was too light, despite me repeatedly asking for heavier pressure. I knew after 10 minutes this was not going well and I just wanted it to be over, and was happy when it was. They get points for cleanliness, and thankfully there are no upsells, but the capper was they couldnt figure out the credit card machine and ran after me as I was about to get in my car, even though the charge already went through. Wont be back.

Comment: If I could, I would give this place a negative 5!The worst massage experience, and by far the worst customer service!First, they talked about one third of the time to each other like the nail salons, and I’m getting a massage!Second, I requested a full body expressing the importance of my feet, and the person focused on my center back for 45 minutes, and I kept saying it hurt, please not my spine or center back!Lower back, neck and shoulders yes, but not 45 minutes on my center back and spine!I’ve been getting massages for so many years, and yes it’s usually high end places, but I thought I would give this place a try, and I did my best to explain the areas of pain, etc..I went to pay and the man INSISTED (actually demanded) I tip, and I refused to tip explaining why.He raised his voice and told me to never return because I didn’t tip, and tipping is mandatory!I happen to be a great tipper, but this experience was horrendous, literally!I’m shocked that this place is in business!There are so many of these places,I strongly suggest going ANYWHERE else!

He worked areas of my neck and shoulders that started out so tight and painful and within minutes the tension released and I was completely relaxed. Comment: I tweaked my neck and left shoulder yesterday and really needed to get it worked out in some way . So Hubs and I made a reservation for each of us ; 9 0 minute combination massage, that was explained as back and feet reflexology for $ 6 0 . I definitely was not expecting the wonderful experience that we had today ! It has been forever since our last massages and this was our first time for both of us at Crystal Palace Massage and we will be returning ! My favorite part was the hot stones . We were each asked how much pressure we wanted. Either way you can t go wrong, and $ 6 0 for 9 0 minutes ; you won t find better . Same day appointment was also great .

Comment: I came not knowing what to expect and its a unique experience! I walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. All that was said was that I didnt have a reservation. I was completely lost on what was happening. A bucket of hot water was brought over and I soaked my feet. while that was happening a neck massage occurred. Then I laid face up on a bed and had a head/arm/leg massage. Finally I flipped over for a back massage. Little shocked when he lifted my tank top and unhooked my bra at one point but made it clear with draping that I was covered. Some communication would have been nice. Overall a FANTASTIC massage for $30. I tipped $6 based off of the price but they requested $10. The tipping was my error and I should have been more generous from the start. I think 10 words were spoken the entire time I was there. Besides the lack of communication, this place was great! Suggestion: women should wear loose pants and a tank top. No sports bras. Must like firm pressure.

Comment: I havent found a place around Newbury Park that offers a clothed, full-body massage for $30 an hour, aside from here. They offer a few private spaces in the back (concealed by hanging drapes) for privacy but I prefer to save the extra cash and utilize the community room.Im not too fond of cash-only locations because--aside from preferring to use credit over cash--I personally like to track my spending using the Mint budgeting app to automatically track everything. Its a compromise because Ive had good massages here and the community atmosphere isnt claustrophobic.They all wear masks, the owner gives you hand sanitizer, lightly mists you with rubbing alcohol from a spray-bottle (I cant be the only one that thinks this is cute; more psychologically comforting than actually helpful in preventing covid-19),, and checks your temp.

When I asked her if she had a cold, she’d didn’t reply because she apparently doesn’t speak English.When I asked the manager if she had a cold, he - who didn’t seem to speak English very well himself - indicated she had a “little” cold.Not wanting to pick up her cold, I cut the massage short and told the manager I’d never come back and left.

Comment: I have been coming here for years about once/month. Excellent price well worth the massage. The environment is calm and peaceful with relaxing music and dimmed lights. Very clean and hygienic everytime. I always request the same person. They have gotten to know my body by now and each massage is not generic, but actually targets my problem areas and is correcting my postural imbalances. I always tip $20-$30. Just because the massage price is very inexpensive doesnt mean these people dont deserve to make decent money given how hard they work and the attention to detail exhibited in each of these massages.

Comment: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. We bought the $200 punch pass for 10 massages. Went to use for my husband and I and an oopsie on my part but we both forgot our wallets so we couldn’t tip. I though oh well this is optional because ITS A FREAKING TIP AND I JUST SPENT $200! Well after the massage the owner/manager wouldn’t let us leave because we didn’t tip. I told him we are going to the car to find something. My husband and I were frantically calling people to help us out and the same owner/manager that wouldn’t let us leave came out and TAPPED ON OUR WINDOW and said he would take another punch which is a full other massage and definitely not worth the tip we would have paid. I was so embarrassed that I let him do it but could not believe that they were forcing us to pay AN OPTIONAL TIP that is nowhere stated in the store that it is required. DO NOT GO HERE. WILL CON YOU OUT OF MONEY AND TALK LOUDLY THE WHOLE TIME. THE MASSAGE WAS NOT EVEN THAT GOOD.

In 1 h foot massage, actual foot massage was just around 5-7 minutes. More than 40 mins was dedicated to back massage. Very rude behavior of the owner/manager for not giving at least 20% tips. Demanded 20% on top of the massage fee. Will never visit again.

I am concerned however with the lack of cleanliness there and don’t think the blankets are changed out after each customer. The interior is really rundown. Comment: My wife and I have been going for a long time for a foot massage. I would say best in town, but a few days ago we called ahead made reservations and was a few minutes early. As we walked in they directed us to our tables, no waiting great. So far great hot water came out, we are soaking our feet they massage your and neck pressure points on face and so on. But did realized they that time they more pulling or stretching of your arms kind of like a chiropractor. So after that they ask you to turnaround and lay down. They cover you with a towel and wrap your feet in a warm towel. So far still getting good massage. After they massage you more work on different areas with their hand, elbow, and more pulling and stretching. Still a massage that was good. Maybe little to much chiropractor action. They ask you to turn over and repeat it . Then they said your done.....But I came here for a foot massage and never got one. They have all sorts of stuff talking about pressure points on feet and how relieves things going on your body but theyd even touch my feet or my wife feet once except for taking out of the water. If one knows a great food massage please reply.
