Comment: They will burn your nails while doing gel x they rush and push down hard so it burns you I see in other reviews they have a problem with burning nails off with drills Tiffany should just go work the streets she has an attitude and lies the Danny guy lies they use pictures from other peoples Instagram and claim they know how to do simple designs they dont Tiffany lied to me I showed her a simple flower she said yea I can do it and burned my nails with the drill rushing then painted the gel x and said oh I dont know how to do it this place is a scam and low quality if you knew you couldnt do it dont lie because youre greedy just be real you dont know how to do nails Tiffany and its gross how you were talking trash about some mom and her kids they will talk and make fun of moms in their language just so uncomfortable they all hate working and it shows. Go to the other zen nails they are amazing and know how to work gently they take the time to work on you.

Comment: This is my 3rd time to Zen Nail since they opened. The first two times I got a pink and white both new and fill. Within a week the polish started to chip and by week 2 I have to go to Eco Nails in Dana point where my nails were perfect.Fast forward, I was leaving for a business trip last week and have since cut my nails completely down with only a hard gel and polish. I called and specifically asked for someone knowledgeable with hard gel that would do an excellent job. I arrived and was given to someone who proceeded to take off my gel but afterwards when he started filing my nail, he went into the nailbed filining and my nail started to bleed. He appologized, but what the heck?? It was super painful. Then, he did the nails and I paid $72 for a hard gel manicure that is super short nails (as I am an estnetician now and cannot have long nails). Ok, so again Zen is about 30% higher than everyone else but I paid it and walked out with my bleeding nail. Less than a week later my manicure started to chip and peel. (See photos attached). Im sorry but I will NOT be returning to Zen Nail. Ive given them 3 tries and was so irritated this time I want to post a review. This photo is 1 week after my $72 manicure.

She did a beautiful job in my pedi sure!The gentleman at the counter checking me in was very efficient in checking me in, and yet there was a distinct difference in the service he offered to me cs the younger clientele who entered after me. The thing I love about zen nails is that I’m almost always offered a seltzer or even a glass of wine if I’m up for it. I would like to see him the next time I come in, as I think it’s worth it to simply give him some coaching abt how every customer wld like to be treated. Your extra relaxation services is what distinguishes zen nails from other nail service providers. And I will be coming back! Thanks for listening

Comment: I did a walk in to get some old gel nails off, and I was put with a male nail tech who proceeded to RIP my nails off, did not even start with acetone or use any tools. He simply used his fingers and ripped them off. My nail beds were the most damaged they have been in years of me getting my nails done. I do not understand why he did not properly remove them. It seemed like he was in a hurry to get done as fast as possible, and was not friendly at all.

Everyone was friendly, the place was bright and spotless. Leena did a gel pedicure fast AND it’s the best looking one I’ve ever had! The only slight negative would be the limited choices for colors that I was presented with.Although the colors were limited, I will definitely be coming back. :)

Every nail technician and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied with their nails. I recommend getting gel-x from Chloe. She is very kind and has amazing attention to detail. She always creates the perfect shape and length. I tried the cat eye French gel x and it looks so cute! They are also especially caring and patient with young children. They do an amazing job with kids manicures as well. I can’t recommend this salon enough, thank you ❤️

Comment: 3 stars because the lady who did my manicure was amazing as well at the lady who did my husbands pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was not the greatest. She obviously didn’t want to be there doing her job. The lady doing my manicure had to keep telling her what to do. My pedicure lady forgot my hot stones until the very end of my massages when she looked over and saw the other lady using them on my husband. The foot scrub she just casually placed and did no scrubbing, my feet are still dry and don’t feel like I got a pedicure at all. The polish was left bumpy. I’m happy my husband had a great experience with his pedicure but I definitely screwed myself out of money and a pedicure. That’s what happens when I try a new nail salon.

Comment: Can’t tell you how bad their nail techs are. I think they had a wave of inexperience nail techs working for them. The lady manager only cares about your money. I paid $180 for my nails looking like a kid did them. Complaining doesn’t help at all. Just don’t go to them once their businesses slowing down because doing nails is not cheap anymore and they are charging and enormous amounts of money for very poor service. Go somewhere else there’s nothing done about this place you’re gonna end up giving almost $200 to walk away with a $10 work.

Comment: I had nail art there. The young man who did the art did a great job. Thats the only reason Im giving it such high stars.The girl who did my pedicure wasnt very good. She was fake nice and seemed resentful. When I asked to skip the foot and leg scrub and just give me an extra minute or two massage she refused. She said it would cost extra. I explained i just want it in place of the foot scrub. Ive had three surgeries on my leg and ankle and the scrubs feel terrible on my scars. She refused even though I said she would be using less product and massaging for less time.Finally, someone spoke to her in another language and based on her response she realized she was wrong and wasnt happy about it.I ended up getting my massage but it wasnt worth it because of all the hassle. It wasnt enjoyable because of the stress.Id go back but dont want to deal with her again.She gets zero stars and the young man who did my nails gets five stars.

Comment: Fist impression was good but manicure was really bad. I came for pedicure and manicure. They offered me a dip powder and I decided to try. I was surprised that with dip powder service they dont do any manicure at all. They only cut cuticles and that is it, no lotion, no basic massage, nothing. For manicure she took water from my feet spa, not even clean water. Dip powder was just ok but I left with a feeling that underneath my nails is a lot of powder, cleaned when I got home. Pedicure looks nice but everything was pretty basic, other salons offers more steps for pedicure and apply nice lotion. Conclusion- salon looks nice, they even offer drinks but service very basic and you need to pay extra for every single procedure that in other salons is included already in manicure and pedicure.Moreover, one week later, dip powder looks really bad because they used a nail drill machine to make it thin. It looks that all my nails are scratched. Picture is attached.

Comment: I made an appointment for two manicures. When my friend and I arrived, they sat us both in the pedicure chairs and let us know they’d be doing our manicures there. I thought it was strange but went along with it. A few minutes later, I was asked to move to the nail desk, while my friend was still sitting in the pedicure chair. This wasn’t the end of the world but a little awkward since we booked together. As I’m sitting there, the lady tells me she will be doing my nails. A couple minutes pass and she looks at me and says her appointment has arrived and I need to move to a different seat. I move seats and the third person finally does my nails, and I can tell she’s in a hurry. She cut my fingers, filed the nails unevenly, the dip powder was bumpy, and the shape was not square, which is what I had asked for. I felt extremely uncomfortable because I could tell she was in a rush and unhappy… Honestly, this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Would never return.

The lady that did my nails took a long time and made sure they were perfect without me asking which is rare these days and they were busy. Comment: This was an unpleasant experience starting with making an appointment for a pedicure and acrylic fill, when getting there they were unprepared for my appointment only having one lady available for only acrylics. I was unable to get a pedicure not only that but the lady that did my nails was extremely rude and negative, going on about how I shouldn’t get regular polish and then criticizing my mother for asking the lady doing her nails to file them more square. Overall this is not a place I would go back to or recommend.

Comment: Made appointments for 2 manicures, 2 pedicures, 2 acrylic fills for me n daughter. They gave her acrylics at the counter, me a pedicure across the room, after 40 minutes they started my fill, they never gave either of us manicures, my daughter was offered to start her pedicure after an hour and we said no. It took 2 total hours for only a acrylics with regular polish. I did not like the way they treated us or the work, worst nails n pedicure. My nails aren’t even square as repeatedly requested! Don’t go there if you care.

Did my own nails for well over a year during Covid (and not the best job I might add😉) but started going back to my former salon right before we moved. I drive to the South Bay often and would try to coordinate nail appts when I was in town (its a 52 mile drive one way). My manicurist cut the amount of days she was working which made it harder for me to book appts that were convenient for my schedule. Decided it was time for me to find a local nail salon. Looked at many reviews and liked what I read about Zen so booked an appt. Staff is very friendly and the salon is beautiful. They use only high end products and the salon is immaculate! Trina did my dip powder full set and pedicure. Shes terrific! Very nice person and excellent manicurist! They let me bring my own dip powder products which I greatly appreciate. Invested a lot of money in them during Covid so want to use what I have. They still charge the same price for services (so did my former salon) because youre really paying for the labor which I understand. Pedicure was the best Ive had in a very long time. Love that theyre located in the Laguna Niguel shopping center with Whole Foods. I get pampered then go shopping! Highly recommend Zen Nail Lounge if you want quality service and an overall great experience!

I would be disappointed and end up traveling to my old town to my old place to get them done. Im very consistent about my nail appointment typically every 3 weeks and I like a more modern style to my nails. This place is clean, FRIENDLY and offers you a luxurious experience. Which, when you go to a nail salon it should be! Check in was easy, the colors were easy to pick out, and the menu was easy to read. On my arrival I was asked if I wanted any beverages to drink.
