Comment: As part of the Granite Bay community, and having a daughter in 4th grade at Ridgeview, I understand how important it is to have an excellent learning center within our community. That’s the reason my dear friend Sara Yang, who worked for the US Dept. of Education for many years, has decided to open Sylvan Learning Center—not just for the good of her own children, but more than that, it is for her dream and passion!My daughter is struggling a little with Math. After taking Sylvan’s assessment. The results clearly show her weaknesses that need to be improved. I enrolled her for Math lessons 2 times a week, and now she is sharing her thoughts about her first lesson:“I had the best time at Sylvan, the teacher is really nice and funny like my teacher at school. He taught me fractions that are really hard for me, but it’s easier now. I’m glad Sylvan is open, because now I can just walk there anytime from my mom’s salon. 😊”
