Comment: This place is hit or miss. I think it depends on who you get. I went yesterday to get a basic pedicure and was charged $51 and the lady basically sawed my cuticles with an emery board and rushed the entire time. Did I mention I have a broken leg so she only changed my polish on one foot so $51 for a subpar pedicure on one leg!!!! My toes are still sore from the sawing she did!!

Comment: DO NOT GET YOUR DIP REMOVED FROM THIS NAIL SALON.I had gotten dip done for the first time from another nail salon and my nails had grown out so it was time to have them removed. I had never done dip before so I had never gotten the dip removed. I live just up the street and had gotten an okay gel mani pedi here (very basic to begin with... didnt do my cuticles etc) So i went in for dip removal and a gel manicure. This lady took an acrylic nail and started sliding it under the dip then RIPPING IT OFF MY NAIL BED. It was painful and uncomfortable and I told the lady I had never done dip before and didnt know that is how they took it off. Since I am not a professional and this is supposed to be a verified business... I trusted her doing best practices and continued to wince while she ruined my nails. My nails were absolutely destroyed and traumatized from that process. Literally the tips of my nails were RIPPED... it was worse than a child who bites their nails! I was so concerned and she could see that but she continued to smile at me as if it was normal. I tipped her well even though I was uncomfortable because she really had me thinking that is how you do it and she gave me a decent gel manicure after. As soon as I left I googled and asked some friends about the dip removal process because i just couldnt believe people endured that constanly. In fact my friend persuaded me to do dip because it was better for your nail beds. WELL Just about everyone will tell you that this is absolutely NOT HOW TO REMOVE DIP. It is 100% advised against because of the trauma & destruction it causes the nails. It has been a week and some of my nail beds are still sensitive to touch. My nails are now very weak & thin(and I normally have very strong thick nails.) They will tell you they pride themselves on high standards but that was absolutely not up to standard. Im praying once my nails grow out again they will be thick/healthy and that this didnt cause permanent damage.*the only reason I didnt give 1 star is because I had gone here in the past and have had good service, but i will definitely not be back to this business after this horrific service... totally destructive.

Comment: My friend and I came here for a gel mani/pedi and had an aweful experience. The lady doing my manicure was yelling at another coworker doing another costumers nails. While yelling at each other the lady doing my nails started to aggressively pound on her chest while she still had my hand in her other handAt that point I wanted to walk out but literally couldnt. My friend wanted the Cat eye nail polish which they had but I guess never done before. The lady said itd be a waste of her time to try it on one nail just to see if it would work even though she gets paid by the hour plus a tip. Definitely will NOT be back here.

And the lady who did her nails was so rude to her, wouldn’t reply to anything she asked. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone ever, save your money and find a better place…..

Comment: I decided to try this nail salon location since I’ve had good service from other locations in SD. I am very disappointed with my nails. The lady cut up my cuticles while trying to sand down the dip powder she put on. She was incredibly rough with my nails. My powder is lumpy and she didn’t even try to cover the whole nail with it or the gel top coat. You can see raw powder in certain spots where she didn’t apply gel. My nails are crooked and the edges are uneven and lumpy because she never went through and filed them correctly after applying the powder. I would of asked them to fix them but they sped through the service so fast they were already with another customer by the time I even could pay. I also am sure even if I let them try to fix it they’d just screw it up more. Never going to this salon again.

Comment: I got a walk-in at Happy Nails for a pedicure because my friend and I were in the mood for getting a good rubdown on our feet, and it’s nice to get the extra attention. The nails on my great toes tend to split down to the nail bed on the outer edges, and Jennifer managed to take care of that problem without causing me any pain.

Comment: Terrible!Wish could give this place zero star if it’s possible.I don’t understand how this place got so many good reviews. Maybe I had a clumsy technician that day?! I had a pedicure and the technician talked to the next person whole time and didn’t really pay attention what she was doing. When I came home, literally she didn’t do anything but putting color I wanted and she trimmed the toe nail with clipper after polish???? I could do much better than this. Definitely it’s not worth $27 and even pricier than the other places.Please be aware!!!!!!

Each step of my spa mani/pedi was delivered with professional warmth and kindness at every single phase, the transitional detail was smooth and impeccable. Both Holly and Nancy have skilled hands doing massage with just the right touch and pressure, completing each stroke and finish with a fluidity only delivered by the best! This is so very, very rare these days. My nails, hands, feet and cuticles look and feel wonderful.

Comment: Scheduling was easy! Customer service was superb! They made sure we were well taken care of even while we were waiting. This place is busy for a reason! I believe they had 15 ladies the day I came in. I loved that they offer complimentary drinks and snacks while I was getting pampered. I also didnt feel pressured to buy their products, it was just an overall relaxing experience. Nails were done just as I asked. I highly recommend it and definitely would love to come back soon!

Comment: Used to be my go to spot to get an eyebrow wax. Today (Monday early afternoon) my wax was rushed. Didn’t even brush/trim my brows. Spent $12 then noticed once I looked at them with real lighting in my car, that I wasted my money. I still have lingering hairs that should have been picked up not only by the wax, but after her rushed tweezing after. I’m sad I need to find a new go to spot, but I’m even more sad that I wasted my money. That was a horrible experience, especially for being in scripps. I was unnecessarily rushed.

Comment: Went in on NEW YEARS EVE to get a polish change. I explained to the person that I had to walk home (1.5) miles and I would sit and wait longer to ensure that they were dry and not smear. I waited at LEAST a hour in the chair, she motioned that I could go. I asked her 2 times are you sure its ok. She promised that 8 was fine. Walked home, took off shoes and this is what I saw. Technician had painted my toes WAY too.thick....in fact a 3 year old couldve painted my toes better!

She was very thorough and took her time with the massage.I also got waxed and Queen did an amazing job. She was very friendly and gentle with my face. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Comment: Short story: on the expensive side, clean, employees dont bother talking to you (good/bad for different people) good pedicureLong story: Pretty good place. It was very clean. They had a disposable blue wrap around the foot tub and the nail tools came out of a sealed medical sterile bag. The massage chairs were very clean and felt AMAZING; better than any one Ive ever been in. The service was not the best though. All the employees were loudly conversing in a different language the entire time I was there and I barely heard them communicate with the customers, and the customers never communicated to eachother presumably because all the employees were too busy talking. The pedicure I got turned out looking great but was a little bit painful.
