Comment: This place is absolutely amazing!!! We’ve had such an awesome experience every time we come! The business is always extremely clean, all the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Julie was the one that always helped us originally and there are a few other employees that have taken care of our dogs who have been just as perfect! We’ve been coming here for about 6 to 7 years with our previous dogs and now we bring our dog Hunter who actually enjoys coming! They have unbeatable prices! I would highly recommend bringing your pets here because they are super trust worthy!

Comment: I love the Webcam!! I also love that Peter and all the staff are so attentive to my dogs! Rylie really misses Dogtopia and her now doggy buddies. Dogtopia staff were able to see that our senior dog needed more alone time, and took her separately aside with Rylie, which Peter kept me abreast of!! Comment: So happy we found Dogtopia, and now we can travel guilt free! Our corgi pup, Lola, came home exhausted and happy after her first night boarding. I love the webcams they have set up and how much free play time they get. It’s so nice to be able to check in on your pet. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been friendly and cheerful. While it took a while to get an assessment (4-5 months), I’m happy they do it because we have assurance the other dogs aren’t aggressive. Booking seems fairly easy though once you’re passed the assessment.

Comment: I was not impressed with the initial meet and greet for my dog. The 2 front desk ladies did not take the time to make my dog feel comfortable with the exchange for him to be in a new environment. They forced pulled him by his leash to get him to go in their direction which created an unsafe environment for my dog. My dog is also a 7 month old puppy. It was his first time to be exposed to a daycare environment and unfortunately it didn’t go well. I wouldn’t recommend this place for new puppy owners.

Comment: Dogtopia has been a blessing to find. The staff is always friendly and I can rest assured my dog is well cared for. My husband and I love that there is ways an employee monitoring the dogs in each of the rooms, and we often receive feedback on Penny Lane’s day with her best furry friends! The photo shoots to raise money to train service dogs is an amazing endeavor. The photo shoots themselves are themed and over the top!! Seeing the pictures brings us so much joy. We couldn’t be happier finding a place where we feel safe to leave our dog. Penny Lane loves it so much that we can’t say the word “friends” in front of her since she thinks she’s going to Dogtopia! Thank you a hundred times over to the amazing staff of Dogtopia San Jose!!

Peter, Emily and Julie, and their team of coaches are super hands-on and caring.While all staff are great, I have to give a special shout out to Amber who really took the time to get to know my dogs and addresses all my concerns. I have done both boarding and daycare, and Amber and the other coaches definitely take great care of my dogs.An added plus is my dogs don’t smell after a full day of play. I did request a bath once, and their groomers are EXCELLENT. Oh and they do the cutest photo shoots too.It is so reassuring that my dogs have a place that they like going to, and it’s one that I fully trust. Also love that it’s easy to reserve boarding/daycare and watch webcams via their app. Cannot rave about them enough.

Comment: I love that after over 2 years (due to the pandemic), the employees at Dogtopia still remember our dog and her mannerisms. They operate in the modern era and accept daycare/boarding requests online, vaccine records via email, and their app allows access to their doggy cams for us to check up on our dog if we wanted to. They also offer basic grooming (bath and teeth brushing) services for the dogs so if needed and you want a clean dog coming home with you thats conveniently available. When you walk into the lobby the facility is clean and bright and their is always a friendly face sitting at the front desk. If you are a nervous dog parent, in either the gym (for big dogs) or romper (for small dogs) there is always one person in each room monitoring the dogs and cleaning any messes that might occur in there. We have many dog boarding places much closer to our house but we choose to bring our dog to Dogtopia time and time again when we need to travel because we trust that our dog will be taken care of. If you see the number of dogs they care for, youll see that were not the only ones who feel that way.

Weve taken our dog there for several years now and done both doggy daycare as well as boarded him there while we were out of town. And recently weve been taking him to doggy daycare every few weeks so our pup can see his friends and also so the good folks at dogtopia can grind his nails for us! Comment: Doggy daycare is the best! We have never had an issue with there being an open appointment for our dog, even when we request her appointment last minute. Finnley absolutely loves visiting her human and dog friends. They get fed lunch followed by nap/quiet time for 2 hours. For this, they put each dog in their own crates. We dont crate at home, but appreciate that she is used to this if we ever come across a situation that requires a crate. At the end of the day we get a report on who Finnley played with and how she did throughout the day. We get to bring home a very tired pup!! We often get her nails cut while she is there for daycare, and they do a great job! The employees come up with great ideas such as Pool Party day where they bring in kiddie pools and bubble machines during hot days. And we get to watch the fun on the webcams! We love Dogtopia!

Comment: The entire Dogtopia team is quite exceptional and some of the kindest and hardest working people I know. They all love dogs and this is the only place my dog gets so excited to go other than the beach, the mountains and our house. Truly. In addition to being an incredible business, Peter is one of the most genuine and caring men I have met since moving to San Jose 3 years ago. I recently locked my keys in my car in the Dogtopia parking lot and Peter stopped everything to help me make a makeshift hook out of a random assortment of objects he found to open the door. My dog was inside the car and I was in full panic mode. Peter truly saved the day and couldnt have been calmer or nicer about it. You wont find a better doggie daycare and boarding place in California!

Comment: All of the staff is so great with the dogs and want them to have a fun and safe experience. The facility is clean and well-managed, its easy to make bookings, and prices are very reasonable. After just a week, Ive been super pleased with the service, and my puppy has come home safe, happy, and worn out!

Comment: The level of customer service, attentiveness, professionalism, and care demonstrated by the entire staff at the San Jose facility is unparalleled to any of the establishments in the area Ive experienced. Each staff member has been nothing short of welcoming and pleasant to interact with; they each demonstrate a genuine sense of care for my dog; which can be difficult considering the volume of clients (both dogs and humans!) they manage on a daily basis. They continuously exceed my expectations. Their customer service is enough to win anyone over, but on top of that, the booking platform is incredibly user-friendly and easy to use; I also love the integrated ability to view the webcams clearly through the app. Ive experienced 4 different boarding/daycare facilities in the past and Dogtopia undoubtedly outscores each of them across all factors. I am truly thankful for the entire team and their hard work.

Comment: My dog loves this doggy daycare and I love it even more. The staff is caring and thoughtful, and they have a nice structured day that helps the dogs play without going overboard. Even though my dog is a very high energy pup they are always happy to see him, which makes me love bringing him to this dogtopia even more. They also have webcams which is a big plus when we are missing our dog while overseas.

Comment: BEST daycare ever!..... they have coaches/trainers in with dogs at all times while observing dog behaviors so that no agression arises and everyone is happy and sage all day long! They have a daily routine of cleaning rooms constantly and a nap time for dogs at lunch time! Webcam is available all day to check in on your fur baby!Many places dont a have webcams and to me this is total peeace of mind to check on your baby anytime and SEEING that he/she is in good hands!Staff is AMAZING, informative, knowledgeable and caring and i am super happy having my sog spend his day here while im at work! Thank you Dogtopia!!!

Comment: We dropped off our 6 month Corgi for 6 nights. We researched places and ended up here after talking to the manager. Discussed the daily schedule and procedures which made me feel comfortable leaving him here for his first extended boarding. Nice friendly (dog and people) staff, newly renovated interior. Our Corgi was exhausted but watching him for a few minutes every day via the webcam, its not surprising. Will use Dogtopia again.

I received helpful suggestions on how to help her feel comfortable while were gone and I love the app and camera viewing options. My pup and I cant wait for vacation!

Comment: Great place to take your dog. The folks at Dogtopia are caring and genuinely want your dog to have lots of fun and get lots of attention. They demonstrate this by vetting every prospective dog in a scheduled meeting with employees and the other dogs to ensure that there wont be any conflict.If there is conflict or any signs of a dog being problematic --as much as it sucks, but its best for the other dogs already in the daycare-- they have to turn them away. After your dog passes the meeting, they offer a free trial day of care to make sure everything is going to work out. Then, if all goes well, you are free to drop your dog off any time starting at 7am! The dogs are always supervised, and everybody there tries to encourage play that doesnt go overboard or get too rough.They even separate the dogs into rooms based on play style/temperament! The webcams are also a great feature that lets the owner check in when they miss their little guy as well. Peter, the owner is great! Very understanding, and I cant recommend this place enough. I write this as Im getting ready to drop my boy off tomorrow morning!

Comment: Best doggie day care in San Jose! No need to search for other places, just go here! The place is super clean with attentive, well trained staff that will take care of your dog. You walk in and the first thing you notice, is that the place does not smell of dogs! The staff prioritizes a clean and safe environment for everyone.Peter, the owner was also very nice and reassured us that our dog will be well taken care of. He was very open in talking about packages, and fees. During the tour he showed me what they use to clean the facility, how they take care of aggressive dogs and how they help a shy dog to play with others. I immediately felt comfortable and safe to have my dog stay at this facility. And Peter will work with you in accommodating your needs. And they have webcams! How cool is that! I watched their care team play with my dog and Peter, encourages to call them anytime with questions about your dog or their care team or anything that you see from the webcams. I think thats pretty awesome for a doggie day care!I will definitely come back and refer any dog owners to this place.Thank you Dogtopia!

Comment: Great place for your furry child! Place is clean and caretakers are well trained and very attentive to pets. My Keona LOVES this place. When i drive into parking lot she literally gets excited, pushes me out of the truck and runs to the entrance door! A very good sign she is having fun there and being well taken care of. Thanks Peter and gang for taking good care of Keona!!
