Comment: This review will reflect the live musician services of Blitz Nation we experienced via booking Second Song.We were beyond excited for the live music as guest entertainment was one of our top priorities for our wedding. Theres no feeling like the one live music provides. In fact, this was the deciding factor for why we went with Second Song over the dozens of highly rated DJ vendors in the LA/OC/IE area.The String Duo that showed up for our ceremony was great; arrived early, was very professional and played the selected songs wonderfully. Unfortunately, we could not say the same for Jay, the Saxophone player, whom we booked for 2 hours as the surprise performance and finale of our wedding.On the day of the wedding, the Saxophone player was a no show. We got zero notice and he could not be reached by our planner. The ultimate nightmare right? We were told that Jay had a once in a lifetime opportunity to record with a prominent artist which went overtime and he selfishly notified Blitz Nation and Second Song at the last second.Blitz Nation apologized for this and sent us a small $150 Ticketmaster gift card to make new memories and put this behind us only after we told them how disappointed we were.Unfortunately, you will only ever have one wedding, there is never a second chance... Tens of thousands of dollars spent for this one day, just for your planned wedding night finale to go MIA. You will never have all of your family, friends, and loved ones (who flew in from out of the country, traveled thousands of miles, booked hotels) together at the same place and time to share this experience. This may be one isolated event, but this happened to us. If you ask me, for a wedding, one is one too many. When we think about this, we are still sad and disappointed.UPDATE: We did end up getting a response with a thorough explanation and they did seem to want to genuinely make things right so this rating has been updated to reflect that.

Comment: Working with Blitz Nation for our wedding was amazing! From the initial booking process with Rob, getting everything set up with Jayme, and finally getting to work directly with our DJ, Mark, it was a seamless process. Mark was the perfect DJ for our wedding! I personally enjoy making playlists, and had done so for every part of our wedding, and he was more than happy to work off of those and make sure it was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. We let him do his thing and the music was just perfect. We also had two live musicians - a saxophone player and a percussionist. Both of them added SO much to everything that Mark was playing and I cannot recommend doing the DJ + Live combo from Blitz Nation enough. It gives the feel of a live band but you arent constrained to only the songs that the band knows. It was absolutely perfect and working with Blitz Nation was a breeze!

Id highly recommend them to anyone planning an event where music will be an key piece of the night.Our ask from Blitz Nation was fairly comprehensive - we wanted DJ services across guest arrival, cocktail hour, and dinner; with a different vibe for each section. Then we had live musicians with a DJ (what they call Blitz Fusion) for 3 hours at our reception.The team worked with us for months ahead of the event to craft the vibe. They picked a DJ (Bryan) who was the perfect match for our event. Then they selected live musicians who put together an amazing performance, interacted with guests, and hit the dance floor themselves (something we requested).Specific shout out to Rob and Matt - theyre the best and made our event go super smoothly! Couldnt imagine a better team to work with for our wedding night.

Comment: We are SO GLAD we hired Blitz Nation for our wedding on 3/30/24! They made the planning process so easy, were super responsive, and answered all of our questions. Its clear that Rob has been working in this industry for a long time; his experience and organization show. Blitz Nation made it easy to book all of our wedding entertainment with diverse talent. We had Aaron play the acoustic guitar for our ceremony and it was so PERFECT. Lyn was our DJ and MC for cocktail hour and dinner. We didnt give him much direction for the music, but everything he chose was perfect. We had Rock Nation play the reception. We upgraded to include 2 additional musicians for a total of 6. We loved the flexibility to change the number of musicians based on our budget and song requests. We are so happy we upgraded. The additional musicians helped to round out the sound, including a woman who played the electric violin in stilettos all night and absolutely killed it! Rock Nation made us feel like VIPs and our guests talked about how fantastic their performance was for weeks after our wedding. After the reception, Lyn emceed our karaoke after party. He was so fun and brought the best energy. We had a blast and couldnt recommend Blitz Nation more!

Comment: We used Blitz Nation for a corporate event we did in LA with some of our honored guests and stakeholders. Communication on the front-end and following the event was great and we were able to get things in order very quickly with our tight turnaround. Our musician, Toofun, jumped in, adapted to the group, and played beautifully throughout the evening. Grateful for Blitz Nations partnership and support with our event and would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

Comment: As an experienced wedding and event planner, Ive worked with many bands in the past, but Blitz Nation truly raised the bar at the recent wedding I planned in Newport Beach.Starting with a solo saxophone player during the cocktail hour added the perfect touch. Their three sets, featuring high energy and engaging singers, created an electrifying concert vibe. The DJs EDM party requests had the younger guests dancing with glow sticks, culminating in a fantastic finale that kept everyone on the dance floor all night.I cant thank the crew enough for making it an awesome night for the couple. Comment: We have hired the band Viva for 3 consecutive years since they do such a great job at our event. They hit just the right notes, making sure the music adds energy and atmosphere to the evening. Rob, Matt and the whole team at Blitz Nation are lovely to work with and easy to communicate with so the pre-planning is easy and all the details are handled efficiently. Comment: Rob & the Blitz Nation team were such an epic crew to work with! They made us feel like their number one priority from start to finish, and delivered an absolutely incredible experience making our wedding dreams come true. Every song was a crowd-pleaser; the Viva band was so lively and entertaining; I don’t think one person left the dance floor for 3 hours aside from refilling their drinks lol My wife and I got married at Cielo Farms in Malibu and even with a strict 10pm noise ordinance, DJ Rob completely nailed an unreal silent disco set — even the guests who had initial reservations re: the silent disco said they couldn’t believe how much fun it was. We cannot endorse Rob & Blitz Nation enough. 12/10 recommend through and through. Wedding of a lifetime.

The musicians were also extremely fun, kind and courteous. We didnt want them to stop! Working with the event planners was also easy and they were really accommodating to work with us - our request was somewhat last minute and they figured everything out with ease. Highly recommend!

Kept the wedding rocking all night long and very professional along the way and very quick and responsive with Rob/Matt. Comment: Blitz Nation and Viva Band were absolutely incredible at our wedding. The band played three absolutely stellar sets and made sure to help keep the audience moving. They join us on the dance floor, had killer saxophone solos, and simply had a good time which was contagious. I cannot recommend them highly enough. In addition, Cullen, our DJ, did an excellent job covering a wide range of songs and styles that we were looking for. He did a perfect job emceeing and we cannot thank the crew enough for creating a truly awesome party.

Comment: We hired Blitz Nation for our School Parents fundraiser Gala. Everyone had so much fun! I received so many compliments from my guests about the band and everyone enjoyed them! The band members were engaged and got the guest out of their seats and onto the dance floor. Not to mention, Rob was extremely helpful and always available when needed - a real pro! Overall, Id highly recommend hiring Blitz Nation for your next event!
