Despite their schedule being packed for the week and it being an especially hard day, they went out of their way to accommodate me. Within just one hour, they identified and fixed the issue, showcasing their expertise and efficiency. Comment: Just wanted to give a shout out to the crew here at Bidwell Auto. I recently picked up a used high mileage tundra and needed a timing belt/water pump and suspension/tires. They installed a 2 inch lift on it for me to help clear the tires and now it rides awesome.I was very grateful for how helpful Steve and Brandon were in helping me get the parts all replaced in the best and most cost effective manner. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend and have sent other friends/family here.

Comment: These guys at Bidwell Automotive are awesome. My wife and I were stranded because our Camry had zero electrical power. We walked to Bidwell Automotive and explained our situation. The owner himself immediately stopped eating his lunch and started gathering his tools to come to our aid. After a quick fix of an electrical wire, we were on our way home. This guy would not accept any money from me. Our experience with the owner and his staff was not only very pleasant but you can tell these guys are just honest people. We are new to the Folsom area so this was a blessing to learn about this place. Bidwell Automotive is our new shop now!

Comment: My Honda Odyssey third row seat latch got struck and seat does not close completely. I had a travel plan and need this seat to close to carry luggage for travel. I had walked in this morning without appointment and requested if they can help me with latch issue. They helped me immediately with out any charge. Comment: Great to find a repair shop that is honest and willing to help. I had a check engine light from oxygen sensor. Turned out thieves almost got away with the catalytic converter and cut the sensor wire. The shop welded and replaced the oxygen sensor. This was all done within 3 hours. Lastly, they gave me a discount, since the job was done quicker than expected!!! Wow. Never had a repair shop that is this HONEST.

Comment: AMAZING! Art and his team are amazing. My daughters car was at the dealership for a recall and a diagnostic testing of recent power loss. The dealership just plugged the car into the computer, charged me $200, and wouldnt investigate anything beyond what the computer said. I felt their suggestion was not the answer to the problem. I called Bidwell Automotive because I read their reviews and Im so grateful that I did. Art, the owner, answered and I explained my issue. He went above and beyond to take our car in and within the day he had actually diagnosed the issue and had the parts to fix it. He and his team are trained and true mechanics. Their prices are incredibly fair and they genuinely want to provide the best service for their customers. We live about an hour away but will be bringing all my vehicles to them for all our needs in the future because I can trust they will always treat me fairly and with honesty.

I had my brakes repaired last August by Bidwell Automotive and came back for a different problem, but it still affected my brakes. They covered the costs for new brakes using a warranty that they could have easily hidden from me. Theyre honest and can get you in and out of the door quickly. They finished the diagnostics and repair in one afternoon. Also, theyve explained problems to me using actual car parts. Ive felt included and respected even as someone who knows little about cars.

I made the call, got scheduled, and showed up to a friendly, customer orientated staff that got the work done in a timely and cost effective manner. I wasnt aware the shop did non-tire/wheel related work until I asked. I had a 90% self-repair that needed 10% help by the professionals. I was pleasantly surprised they finished the job and didnt charge me. This is why I will return when maintenance is due on my vehicles. Great job and thank you.

Comment: So I brought my car into the dealership for a annual check and they diagnosed that I needed new rotors and pads on my rear brakes and a new set of tires. They gave me an outrageous quote so I decided to head to Bidwell automotive on a recommendation. Art was super helpful and immediately took care of me the second I walked through the doors. They were super fast and brought my car into the garage within 10 minutes of arrival. They even found that my ebrake pad was worn down and showed me in the garage. They did not force anything on me but in the end I decided to get that fixed as well. They gave me a much better quote than the dealership on the rotors, pads, and a new set of tires. Even compared to the cost of parts at an autoshop they had around the same prices, and gave me a good deal on the labor. I arrived around 2 pm and they had it ready to be picked up the same day, but I decided to pick it up in the morning. Art was one of the best I have ever interacted with at a automotive shop. I am super pleased with my service and will be coming back here for any car needs. It is a family owned business and the customer service was much better because of this.

Comment: I needed a used 14 tire just to make my Camaro movable in the body shop. Called a few of the big name tire places with no luck when one of them suggested I try Art at Bidwell Automotive. When I called him up, he told me to come on over, he was sure he could help. Within a minute of me arriving, he not only located the tire but one of his guys immediately mounted it on my rim. When I went to pay, Art told me dont worry about it. Of course, getting such genuine, old school customer service was so refreshing, I insisted. Not only did they get it out, he had me bring it down to the shop right away and it was finished by the next morning and at a greatly reduced price than what I was quoted. Today, I had some suspension noise that I couldn’t identify on my own - I dropped into Bidwell Automotive and Tire two hours after they closed. Art was kind enough to put my van on the rack so we could see what was going on. Got it diagnosed quickly and saw that it was safe enough to get me home. They didn’t even get any work out of me, so I really appreciate the help. I know my way around a garage pretty well, and you can tell a fair amount about a mechanic by how he keeps the shop. Comment: I called the other day looking for some old used brake rotors for my home gym setup - every other shop in town refused to help me out, but a fantastic guy named Alex here immediately invited me over and even helped load them into the car for me. Cant speak for the actual car technicians, but the customer service here is fantastic.

Comment: I brought my car in because I was having battery issues, thought it mightve been my alternator. Had gone to Autozone and they tested my battery (after a jump) and said it was fine. It didnt start again less than a week later.Art and his team were super helpful. They offered to replace my battery with a new, quality battery with warranty, but when they took out my existing one they saw it had a warranty. I decided to save money and go get a free battery replacement from the original place of purchase, but wanted to still leave a review for Bidwells outstanding customer service.10/10 would recommend.

Problem was assessed, was in and out on a Monday no less in under an hours time and would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely return with any other car issues and/or improvements needed. Comment: I had been a customer of this shop for well over twenty years as Bob Briggs and his wife Jenny built quite a legacy with their friendly, honest, and no nonsense approach to taking care of their customers. And now since Art has taken over the shop, keeping the same mechanics, I see no real drop off in their service (as I’ve had a couple oil change led and some new tires). Comment: This is the Best place to get your car fixed!!! The new owner is amazing! I brought my mustang in because the signal light wasnt working. They immediately started to work on my car. The guys checked it & showed me that it wasnt the light bulb, but a possible faulty socket. They got it working again and told me they can change out the socket if it keeps shorting out. They didnt charge me! The old owners did a great job at finding new owners that are honest & great people that treat you like family! I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop. I am so happy I have an honest & trustworthy place to take my cars.

Comment: Im so pleased with this place!!As a woman, often times I feel that the prices are always quoted higher, when it comes to motor vehicles and shops...Took my car elsewhere in Folsom that I was having some issues with. I just wanted to get an idea what it would cost to fix it. I didnt care for the quote that I received. I notices this new shop that used to be I believe a tire shop. Figured I should try this place as well before I make my decision. Im so glad I did, got a better quote and quality work done .I was greeted by the new owner Art, he is also a Folsom resident, has 2 little girls that he adores. Right away I felt that he was all about costumer satisfaction. He was very knowledgeable answered all my questions. Simply a humble man that wont rip you off, for sure!Im very pleased with everything. I wont be shopping around anymore when it comes to our cars. This shop pretty much does everything. Often times its wise to check out the new place in town. Im just so glad I did.

He’s honest and doesn’t sell you what you don’t need. Happy to know they’ve kept the same staff they’ve had for years under the previous owner. Comment: First off, this place used to be OK Tire (owned by Bob). Sometimes when businesses change hands, the quality suffers, but when we brought my husbands SUV to Art, the new owner of Bidwell Automotive, his service did not disappoint! It is clear that Bob translated customer service expectations and the importance of customer trust. We will continue to bring our cars here for service! Art was up-front with the fact that the business was changing hands, clear with his estimate and timely with his diagnostic and repair. Highly recommend!

Comment: I used them in the past now I wont. They sell you stuff you dont need even if its a new part. they wont work on your car unless u pay for parts you dont need. Its not honest. Dont go here!
