Comment: Completed a bike fitting for my new road bike w/ Bruce at Athleticamps - and highly recommend. 2.5 hours gives you a sense of how comprehensive this - and Bruce evaluated and adjusted from head to toe, including cleat position, seat, handlebars, etc - as well as coaching on proper bike posture. What I particularly appreciated was his explanations throughout it all. Really comfortable environment and process - highly recommend you see Bruce & Athleticamps.

Comment: Bruce got me dialed in on my new road bike. After a lengthy layoff I got a new bike. I made an appointment with Bruce for a fitting. Comment: I’m getting myself ready for a big event in July known as RAGBRAI so I was recommended to see Bruce at Athleticamps to fit my new bike.I was surprised at how badly my bike was fitting me but after Bruce was done my saddle was replaced, adjustments to saddle position was shifted, stem was replace (shorter and angled up), Cleat placement was adjusted back.He spent over two hours with me.In short just about everything that could be adjusted was and this was on a bike that I thought fit me fine. Both my spin and strength improved while I was there in our first session! 😃He’s not done with me yet. With my knee replacement and limited range of motion we’re ordering shorter cranks so I don’t feel a tightness over the top of the stroke. He’ll then make further adjustments for the shorter crankset.These improvements will help me stay in the saddle with more comfort and for longer periods of time. It could mean the difference of finishing RAGBRAI or not.Thank you so much Bruce! 😁

Comment: Excellent experience! I traveled from 3 hours away to be fitted here and would now gladly have gone twice as far.The process is very thorough and data driven, but at the end of the day still tailored to how you (the athlete) feel and Bruces experience. I feel like I now have the best bike for ME, and not just what the numbers say.I immediately went on a ride the next day and couldnt believe the change. Not only was I more comfortable on the bike, but felt like I had more control and confidence on tricky terrain (gravel bike fit).Cant recommend enough.

Comment: Bruce at Athleticamps took me to my best triathlon race season ever! I entrusted Bruce to train me leading up to IMCA 2022, but along the way I had 5 Olympics, 2 70.3’s, and ending the season with CIM. I set PR’s in all those distances, with a sub 11hr in IMCA in brutal gusting wind conditions. Bruce’s guidance gave me the confidence and the solid game plan to succeed and become a competitive age group (45-49) athlete.Bruce was direct in his training method, no sugar coating, which was evident in the first 5mins of the face-to-face coaching interview when he asked me how much I weigh and then telling me I needed to drop 10-15lbs. He was right! The other aspect I was looking for was scheduling flexibility as I travel for a profession and have to utilize hotel facilities like treadmills and stationary bikes. Bruce adjusted accordingly, and despite several days on the road I never had a drop in training or its fitness.Lastly, with Bruce’s bike fitting and coaching the cycling game increased dramatically. My swimming game was always good, running was average, but my bike was the weakest and my previous times showed it. Bruce changed all that, as the masses were no longer passing me once I got to the bike loosing that lead from the water.In all, if you are looking at making strong gains in your race season and think you need the accountability of a coach I strongly recommend Bruce at Athleticamps.

Bruce is both knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He continues to expand his information and experience base even after 20 years as a coach/bike fitter, which I find remarkable. Bruce is affable, easy to talk to, and quite engaging. Plus, he truly gets results. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

His knowledge and experience allowed him to spot several deficiencies which dramatically changed my experience on the bike. After the fit, Bruce wants feedback and is accessible to discuss them all. Comment: Upon the recommendation of my riding teammate, I visited Bruce Hendler of Athleticamps last Thursday. My main concern was knee and trapezius pain with long rides. Bruce took a 3D motion capture with sensors attached to my forefoot, heel, ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and wrist. This provided the data needed to see where my positioning on the bike could be improved. Bruce moved my saddle back and up, adjusted my cleats, replaced the stem, and adjusted the grip angle (now I can actually reach my brakes when Im in my drops). He also STRONGLY recommended I change out my cranks to a smaller size and recommended Matt at AE Service Course to do that work. After my 2.5 hours with Bruce, I felt confident I would feel significant improvement on my bike. I did a 25-mile easy ride on Friday and it felt good, but wanted to wait until todays 60-mile ride to be sure. I am thrilled! No knee pain and traps and neck are relaxed...so happy about that. Looking forward to my new cranks in a week or two. I highlyrecommend Bruce Hendler at Athleticamps in Folsom; definitely money well-spent!

Comment: An overall great experience! Bruce is professional, passionate, and good at what he does. I had been riding my introductory bike for a few years before I decide to get a new, and much better, bike. Had been riding the new bike for three months before I decided to get a fitting and that has made all the difference. I am much more comfortable and my power on the bike has increased immensely. I wish I would have visited Bruce with my first bike. Its never too early or too late to get a bike fitting is one thing Ive learned. And if you have decided to get a fitting, go see Bruce.

Comment: I recently bought a new road bike and spent a few paychecks to buy a quality ride. I jumped at the chance to get it professionally fitted by Bruce at Athleticamps. Ive never had a pain-free ride in my life and wanted my new bike to be different.Bruce took the time to understand my riding goals and past history. He was extremely thorough analyzing my unique riding motion. He custom fit my bike to be just right for me.I recently went back in to install aero-bars.When they didnt fit with the design of the handlebars, I was crushed. Bruce is a pro and performance testing was immensely valuable in customizing IM training programs. Retul bike fit on my road and try bikes are similarly knowledgeable and effective. Comment: I not only recommend Bruce Hendler as a Bike Fitter but also as comprehensive Cycling Coach with all the tools. Ive been wanting to do Bike Fit for years and my wife was kind enough to gift me this Bike Fit for my Birthday this year. I always felt like I was missing the right setup to maximize my power. Bruce nailed it with cleat position, seat hight and a much better seat to replace my 18 year old seat that came with the bike. Yes I was riding an 18 years old seat! Definitely time for a new one and he had all different sizes and shapes to properly fit what was best for me. Bruce and talked a lot during the fit and hes done 1000s which was impressive since hes got a quick eye to support the 3D capture data he uses for all the body angles during the fit. Bruce also offers comprehensive fitness testing for VO2, lactate, torque analysis in additional to coaching which only makes his services more valuable. After the fit I did a several test rides on a few familiar Strava segments to see how id feel. I had been off the bike for more then 4 weeks and my training was completely off but I still hit PRs with ease feeling like I had an extra gear with my new fit. I was completely amazed and excited to get back to my training. A big thanks to Bruce and hope you find his services soon so he can help you as he did me. Comment: Ive been riding for a couple of weeks now and I cant believe the difference. There is no more pain and my performance has improved greatly.Ive ridden doubles, many centuries, and have even ridden from Sac to Reno riding through Nevada City and up hwy 20 over mt rose...all of these rides over the years never having my bike fit. On all those ride, my feet would burn and my seat would always cause me pain.Since the bike fit by Bruce (very detailed with the latest computerized software and graphics of your current and post setup) I havent felt any pain anywhere! Im going to do a full iron this saturday and will let you know how it turns out on the 112 bike.

Also have done some performance test with him as well as his platinum level coaching and have been very happy with the results.
